The Butterfly’s Concerto

Sweet perfume of the spritz and spume

Petrichor of glistening delight

Wafts from the earthly symphony

The ether’s ebullient fall is a felicity

A trickling Glissando of light

Gossamer wings flutter

A tiny dancer in the mud puddle

Lithe little life

Breathes a song, sweet and humble

A prayer

A serendipitous concerto

A harmony to the mellifluous hum

Of the elixir that pours into earth’s open palms

The elements’ surreptitious nonchalance

Is ever-alive with the unveiling

Dawn of a jubilant renaissance
